Do not try to cancel your subscription in Mighty Networks by deactivating your accountThis will not stop your monthly payments, because your subscription is handled by FastSpring, a separate company, and not by Mighty Networks.

Instructions for how to pause or cancel your membership

To pause or cancel your Virtual Art Academy subscription, please carefully follow each of the steps below.

Please give FastSpring three working days notice to cancel your subscription. This is because FastSpring needs time to process your cancellation before the payment is due.

If you do not give sufficient notice, or do not carefully follow the instructions below, it is not possible to give refunds. This is because once the payments are processed by FastSpring, they charge us penalties for refunds. (This no refund policy is clearly stated on the FAQ on the pricing page).

  1. Find the receipt you get from FastSpring each month for your monthly membership payment.
  2. Click on the link Manage Your Orders
  3. Enter in your email address you used on your order and click on Continue.
  4. Go to your email inbox and look for an email from FastSpring
  5. In the email choose “Click here to manage your orders”.
  6. Click on the Subscriptions tab, then click on Manage.
  7. Click on Pause Subscription, or  Cancel Subscription
  8. Double check to see if it says your subscription is cancelled or active? If it says active, then you have not yet clicked the cancel subscription button.

What happens when you cancel

  • As soon as you cancel your subscription, you will immediately lose access to the Virtual Art Academy lessons, irrespective of when your next payment was due, because of technical reasons.
  • Please note that if you stop and start your membership, your Reference eLibrary will be missing some books at the end of your program. This is because your free eBooks are released on a 48 month rolling basis, as a loyalty reward for our members who keep their membership continuous. We offer this bonus because when students stop and start the program frequently, it makes it hard for us to meet our monthly bills, which are continuous..

Thank you, and happy painting!

Kind Regards

Barry
